Hear QuadBass Lite In Action
Demo & Walkthrough
The QuadBass Sound. Streamlined UI.
QuadBass Lite uses the same internal four-band processing as the full version of QuadBass.
Your signal is still separated into Low, Low-Mid, High-Mid, and High bands. Each region is still processed independently. The crossover, saturation, power-amp, cabinet, and compression settings are simply handled behind the interface.
Choose the character of the tone, balance the four bands, and keep playing.
Three Complete Tone Modes
Clean
Open. Controlled. Defined.
Clean provides a polished four-band bass tone with controlled dynamics, a stable low end, and enough harmonic detail to bring the instrument forward without sounding heavily distorted.
Use it for direct studio tones, pop, clean rock, or as a foundation for additional processing.
Vintage
Warm. Driven. Familiar.
Vintage uses softer saturation, broader midrange character, and a complementary cabinet response to create a more traditional amplified bass sound.
Use it when the tone needs warmth, body, and musical grit without the sharper edge of a modern production.
Modern
Tight. Aggressive. Immediate.
Modern emphasizes clean low-frequency support, controlled distortion, and focused upper-mid presence.
Use it in situations where the bass needs to shine along with dense guitars, low tunings, and mixes that demand clear articulation through heavy instrumentation.
More Than a Preset Switch.
The three modes do not simply change one EQ curve.
Each mode recalls a complete internal configuration for:
Crossover frequencies
Band Drive
Band Power Amp
Cabinet response
Multistage compression
Overall gain structure
Every setting is built from the same processing used inside the full version of QuadBass.
Three-Stage Comp
QuadBass Lite condenses the Pre, Low-Band, and Post compressors from QuadBass into one control.
Engage 3-Stage Comp to:
stabilize the input before the multiband split
control the clean low-frequency band independently
glue the four processed bands together at the output
The thresholds and supporting compressor settings are tuned internally, giving you the complete compression structure without managing three separate processors.
Built for Speed.
QuadBass Lite is designed for players who want a finished bass tone without managing crossover frequencies, multiple saturation stages, compressor thresholds, cabinet choices, or IR files.
It is also lighter on CPU than the full version of QuadBass, making it easy to use throughout writing sessions, larger projects, and live or standalone setups.
